Steak Sandwiches with Homemade Chipotle Aioli

Instructions

Ingredients: 

  • Chef Hak’s Mild Red Ancho Beef Sirloin

  • Bread of choice, toasted 

  • Heirloom tomato, thinly sliced 

  • Little gem lettuce, broken into pieces

  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced 

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil 

For the chipotle aioli: 

  • 1 cup mayonnaise 

  • The juice from half a lime, about 1 tablespoon 

  • 1 canned chipotle chile in adobo sauce, finely chopped 

  • 2 teaspoons of adobo sauce, from the canned chipotle chiles

  • ¾ tsp salt, more to taste 



Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chef Hak’s Mild Red Ancho Beef Sirloin in a skillet over medium heat. 

  2. In another skillet saute the onions in avocado oil over low-medium heat, until caramelized. 

  3. Prepare the chipotle aioli by adding all ingredients to a bowl, mixing well to combine. 

  4. Toast the bread and spread chipotle aioli on both slices. Top with caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and Chef Hak’s beef sirloin steak. 

  5. Slice in half and enjoy!
