  • 5 large tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped basil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tsp of Chef Hak's Balsamic dressing
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Finely diced tomatoes and place in bowl
  2. Add the basil, garlic, olive oil, balsamic, salt and pepper
  3. Stir and leave to marinade for about 15 min or up to 60 min before serving
  4. Toast bread and brush with olive oil once removed from toaster or oven
  5. Load tomato mixture onto each slice and serve
