Beef + Broccoli

Instructions

Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of Chef Hak’s Mighty Greens  
  • ⅔ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos 
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic 
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot starch
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • Green onions and sesame seeds to garnish 

Instructions: 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, chicken broth, honey, vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, arrowroot starch, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set the mixture aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add steak and cook, flipping once, until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Stir in the sauce mixture until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a separate skillet, add the Chef Hak’s Mighty Greens, and cook for a few more minutes. 
  5. Serve with cooked rice and garnish with green onions!
