BBQ Chicken Salad

To make the salad you’ll need: 

  • 3 heads of romaine, chopped 
  • 1 carton of cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1 lb of cooked and chopped chicken
  • 1/3 cup eat Hak’s bbq sauce 
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion 
  • 1 can of black beans, rinsed 
  • 2 medium avocados, cubed 
  • 2 green onions, chopped 

For the bbq ranch: 

  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup Chef Hak’s BBQ sauce 
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar 
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp each of garlic powder, salt, and onion powder 


  • Start by chopping your romaine and adding it to a large bowl. 
  • Rinse the beans and chop the rest of the veggies, then add to the bowl with the romaine. 
  • Chop your chicken and toss with bbq sauce so that it’s well coated. Add to the large bowl. 
  • To make the dressing, combine all ingredients in a bowl, whisking to combine.
