About this recipe:

Active time only 8 minutes! Walk away, do some fun stuff, come back in 3.5 hours – put a fork in it…it’s done!


  • 1 pound of boneless beef short ribs
  • 1 Hak’s Paks Korean BBQ
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 onion (peeled and sliced)
  • ¼ cup water
  • Garnish with chopped green onion

Shop Products Used:


In a slow cooker, dutch oven or medium pot, add short ribs, sliced onion, Korean BBQ sauce and just enough water to cover the meat. Simmer for 3 hours with a lid, checking periodically if more water is needed (the liquid should always cover the meat). Remove the lid and cook for another 30 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onion and salt to taste. Enjoy!

The Bomb!

I’ve been trying to make this dish for a while and this was the easiest and tastiest version by far! Got the sauce and The Fresh Market. You have a fan.
